Arts Integration at SAIL 2025

I had such a wonderful experience presenting this year at SAIL 2025, hosted by the Alabama Arts Alliance. I had the pleasure of leading two arts integration focused professional development workshops for Alabama educators.

My first session was "Bringing Learning to Life: Theare" which focused on using theatre and theatrical techniques in core curricular subjects. We started with some warm ups, followed by some tableaux work and ended with some Reader's Theatre.

My second workshop of the day was "Musical Connections to Core Curriculum" which focused on approachable music integration techniques for teachers who do not have a musical background.
